Migration guides: get your goals out of 36 tools

Each guide covers one tool: what its export holds, who is allowed to run it, and how to rebuild your current period in OKIAR. Where a tool has no export, or has shut down, the guide says what you can still reach.

The guides are self-serve. You export the file, and OKIAR's goal import reads it. Facts were checked on October 27 or 28, 2026, with links to each vendor's help pages. Search for your tool, or filter by type.

Frequently asked questions

Will OKIAR move my data for me?

The guides are written so you can do it yourself. You export the file from your current tool, and OKIAR's goal import reads it at sign-up or later.

What files can OKIAR's goal import read?

Spreadsheets, CSV, PDF, Word, text, Markdown and JSON files up to 5 MB, including Excel files with several sheets. It helps map people, teams and parent links for you to review, and you can run it at sign-up or later.

What if my tool has no export, or has shut down?

Some guides cover that case, including Koan, Peoplebox and Hirebook. They explain what you can still reach and how to rebuild the current period by hand or from what you saved.

Can OKIAR keep weights, several owners and our own periods?

Yes. Periods can be custom, an objective can have more than one owner if you want, and key results can be weighted.

Is OKIAR free?

OKIAR is free during its beta, with no credit card and no cap on team members. The beta has no end date, and your Okiar is already live today.

Does OKIAR connect to Microsoft Teams or Jira?

No. OKIAR's integrations are Slack, Telegram and MCP. There's no Microsoft Teams app and no Jira integration. If your team lives in Teams or Jira, the alternatives pages point to tools that support them.
