Engagedly alternatives for teams that outgrew the bundle, or never needed it
Facts checked October 27, 2026
Engagedly sells a wide talent platform in suites: Performance, Learning, Recognize & Reward, Engage & Listen, Talent Mobility, plus Mentoring and Compensation on top. Goals and OKRs live in the Performance Suite next to reviews, 360 feedback, one-on-ones and a skills library.
Breadth is the selling point and also the reason some customers look elsewhere. If you only use goals and reviews, you're paying into a platform built for much more. Below are six alternatives, checked on October 27, 2026, sorted by what an Engagedly customer usually wants next.
Where Engagedly costs more than it looks
The floor is high for a small company. Engagedly's pricing lists the Performance Suite at $5 to $8 per user per month, billed annually, with a minimum of $7,500 a year. At $5 a head that minimum covers 125 people, so a 40-person team pays for far more seats than it has.
The range isn't a price. Where you land between $5 and $8 depends on employee count and bundling, which the page doesn't spell out. You find out on a sales call.
Chat apps need a support ticket. Slack and Microsoft Teams are both turned on by Engagedly's support team, not from a settings screen. Per the Slack integration guide, an admin must contact support first, and only then can employees connect their accounts. The Teams guide says the same.
Imports are unforgiving. The goal template fails if any information in it is incorrect or incomplete, so a large file can take several passes.
What Engagedly gets right
The goals tooling is more complete than many HR suites. Admins can import goals from a template, assign one goal to many employees, or export existing goals with Preview & Export, edit them and upload them back. An import history logs every file, who uploaded it, record counts and status. Once Slack is on, employees can check in on goals, add key results and comment without leaving Slack. And the Essential professional services package is part of every purchase.

Six Engagedly alternatives
PerformYard
PerformYard is the nearest swap if Engagedly's reviews are what you'd miss. PerformYard's pricing puts its Performance product, covering reviews, goals, meetings, feedback, engagement and surveys, at $5 to $15 per person per month, billed annually. Every plan includes a dedicated success manager, hands-on implementation and unlimited employee training, with no added onboarding fees.
The trade-off is goals data. Goal lists download as CSV with alignment and progress, but there's no import screen. New goals go in by hand or through the PerformYard API. Slack only publishes recognition, while the Teams app adds daily notifications. See our PerformYard alternatives.
Peoplebox
Peoplebox fits an Engagedly customer whose real use is OKRs plus reviews. Peoplebox's pricing includes OKRs, KPIs, check-ins, reviews and 1:1s in Performance Management at $8 per employee per month, billed annually. Engagement surveys cost $2 more, a development plan module $3, and compensation $5.
Moving in is easier than Engagedly's strict template. Its goal import reads CSV or XLSX and uses Row ID and Parent Row IDs to keep alignment, including more than one parent. Peoplebox works inside Slack and Microsoft Teams. Our Peoplebox alternatives page has more.
Profit.co
Profit.co keeps Engagedly's breadth but tilts it toward strategy. Its plans offer Strategy, Performance, Projects and Engagement modules, with OKRs, balanced scorecards, Hoshin Kanri and over 300 KPI templates on the strategy side. Pricing is a proposal based on modules and user count, so you'll still need a sales call, but there's a 30-day trial first.
Every plan includes a dedicated customer success manager, guided onboarding and SSO. Choose Profit.co when your CEO wants goals linked to projects and scorecards, not only to reviews. See our Profit.co alternatives.
Betterworks
Betterworks is the step up for a larger organization that runs goals as a formal program. Betterworks' pricing lists Performance at $8 per user per month with goals and OKRs, feedback, conversations, 1:1s and a designated success partner. The $9 plan adds calibration, succession and skills intelligence, and Enterprise is custom with a dedicated implementation team.
Goals can be mass uploaded, though alignment is set afterwards. It has a Slack app and a Microsoft Teams integration. Read our Betterworks alternatives.
Teamflect
Teamflect is the pick for a Microsoft 365 company that wants Engagedly's range without the minimum. Teamflect's pricing has a free Starter plan for up to 10 users, then Essential at $7 or $9 per user depending on billing. Reviews, OKRs, surveys, 360 feedback, one-on-ones, recognition and career paths run inside Teams and Outlook.
Its bulk goal upload takes owners, parent goals and weights in one spreadsheet. There's no Slack app, so it's wrong for a company that lives in Slack. See our Teamflect alternatives.
OKIAR
OKIAR fits the Engagedly customer that realised goals were the only suite people opened. It does objectives, key results and KPIs, nothing else: no reviews, surveys, learning or recognition. There's no Microsoft Teams app or Jira integration either; it connects to Slack, Telegram and MCP. The beta is free with no minimum spend and no card, and Okiar is already live today.
Engagedly's goal export can go straight into OKIAR's goal import, which reads spreadsheets, CSV, PDF, Word and other text files up to 5 MB and helps map people, teams and parent links for you to review. Key results can be weighted. The move is self-serve; OKIAR can offer migration help.
When to stay on Engagedly
Stay if you use three or more suites. Learning, recognition and surveys from separate vendors will cost more and need more admin. Stay if Marissa AI and the talent analysis tools feed decisions you'd struggle to rebuild. And stay if you're well over 125 people, where the $7,500 floor stops mattering.
What you can take out of Engagedly
Two routes give you goal files. Under Goals Import, choose Update Existing Goals, filter, then Preview & Export for an editable file of the goals you picked. Admins can also export the Goals report from the goals dashboard, cut by business unit, department, status or alignment. The Engagedly migration guide walks through both.
