Rhythms alternatives: 7 OKR tools for teams that want less machinery
Facts checked October 27, 2026
Rhythms doesn't call itself an OKR tool. Its home page opens with "AI that helps run the company," and its FAQ goes further: "Legacy OKR tools only track goals; Rhythms operates them." Goals are one of four products in the platform, next to Playbooks, Radar and Reviews, and AI agents gather updates, prepare business reviews and chase decisions across your tools.
That pitch lands well with some leadership teams. Others try the demo and realize they wanted something smaller: a place to set objectives, check in weekly and see who's behind. This page is for the second group, and for anyone blocked by a missing Teams app or a per-seat price. Prices are as published on October 27, 2026.
Rhythms in brief
The Rhythms resource library answered most of our questions:
- Team. Built by the people behind Ally.io, which Microsoft bought in 2021 and turned into Viva Goals. Founder Vetri Vellore wrote "OKRs for All." Funding of $26 million came from Accel, Greenoaks and Madrona.
- Price. Pro starts at $12 per user per month with all four products. Business is $28 with advanced security and four times the AI capacity. Enterprise is custom. Every plan has a 14-day trial, no card. The billing period isn't stated, and we found no separate pricing page.
- Integrations. More than 200, including Jira, Salesforce, HubSpot, GitHub, Linear and Slack. The FAQ lists Microsoft Teams too, but the home page marks the Teams app "Coming soon."
- Customers. Amgen, UPS, GoDaddy, Ciena, SentinelOne and over 1,000 other organizations.
Why buyers pass on Rhythms
- They want a tracker, not an operator. If nobody asked for AI agents in business reviews, Radar and Playbooks are extra surface to learn.
- Microsoft Teams isn't ready. A company that works in Teams has to wait for the app.
- Per-seat cost at scale. $12 per user per month for 150 people is $1,800 a month. Several tools here charge half that or less, and one charges nothing.
- History takes a developer. The CSV export keeps only each goal's latest check-in. Older updates come through the REST API, with a token you request from support.
What Rhythms does well, and who should stay
Rhythms is unusually confident about setup. The FAQ says "Whether you're coming from Workboard, Viva Goals, or spreadsheets, moving your OKR program to Rhythms takes minutes," and that Rhythms does the heavy lifting. Goals update automatically from connected tools, which saves the weekly chore of typing in numbers. And the team has run an OKR company before.
Stay with Rhythms, or pick it, if your leadership wants AI to prepare reviews and track decisions across Salesforce, Jira and the rest, and you work in Slack. That's a real use case, and few tools on this page attempt it.

Seven tools to compare with Rhythms
Tability
Tability is the nearest AI-first rival at half the starting price. Its pricing page describes an AI coach "that automates check-ins and proactive reporting," and Tability's pricing is $6 per user per month on Basic billed yearly ($7 monthly), with Slack, Teams, Jira and Linear included, or $10 on Premium.
Leaving Rhythms: export your goals to a spreadsheet and hand it to Tability's AI importer, which reads XLSX or CSV up to 10 MB and asks you to confirm before anything is created.
Perdoo
Perdoo is for teams that want OKRs and a strategy map without agents. The free plan covers up to 5 users with Slack and Teams; Premium is €8.00 and Supreme €10.00 per user per month under 25 users, falling with volume to €6.40 and €8.00 at 100 users, and quarterly terms cost 10% more. Jira integration and performance reviews are on Supreme.
Leaving Rhythms: Perdoo's importer takes its CSV template or text, and its AI can parse pasted goals.
Weekdone
Weekdone pairs OKRs with a weekly report from each person: Plans, Progress and Problems. Its pricing is free for up to 3 users, then sold in packages starting at $9 per user per month on annual billing, with a 14-day trial and no card. A dedicated OKR coach, onboarding and team trainings are included.
Leaving Rhythms: Weekdone's integrations include Teams, Slack, Jira and Google Sheets. Its own guide suggests copy and paste or Zapier for moving goals in.
OKRs Tool
OKRs Tool flips the pricing model. Scale costs $129 a month whatever your headcount up to 100 people, with unlimited OKRs, check-ins, AI insights and every integration, Slack, Teams and Jira included. For 150 people that's under a dollar each. Expand at $229 adds reviews and 1:1s, and Enterprise, from $349 a month, adds SSO, SCIM, audit logs and the API. There's a 14-day trial and a refund if adoption stays under 60% after 30 days.
Leaving Rhythms: the plan table lists import and export of OKRs on every paid plan.
WorkBoard
WorkBoard is Rhythms' most direct enterprise competitor, and one that Rhythms itself names as a source of switchers. WorkBoard's product is now WorkBoardAI, it bought Quantive in 2025, and its pricing page books a demo instead of listing prices. Its Teams presence runs through WorkBoardAI for Copilot. Choose it if you want enterprise AI with an established account team.
Mooncamp
Mooncamp is a plain, well-designed OKR tool with Teams on every plan. Mooncamp's pricing is €7 per user per month on Essential and €10 on Professional, billed annually, with a 5-user minimum and a 14-day trial. It's a good choice if the Teams gap is the only thing stopping you.
Leaving Rhythms: Mooncamp has no goal file import, so goals are re-entered.
OKIAR
OKIAR uses AI for a narrower job than Rhythms: it reads the weekly check-ins your team gives by voice or text and writes a weekly summary of what needs attention, in Slack or Telegram. The beta is free, with no card and no caps on objectives, key results, KPIs or members. Okiar is already live today.
Leaving Rhythms: upload your goals as a spreadsheet, CSV, PDF, Word or text file up to 5 MB. OKIAR helps map people, teams and parent links for you to review and lets you edit the draft. Its MCP connection lets Claude or Codex read goals, create objectives, key results and KPIs, and update key results. No Teams app, migration help available.
How to run a fair trial
Rhythms and most tools here offer 14 days, so test them on the same real work:
- Pick one team and one quarter. Load the same five objectives into each tool you're testing.
- Run two weekly check-ins. Watch how many people actually respond without a reminder from you.
- Connect one data source. Rhythms pulls progress from tools like Jira or Salesforce; see whether the alternative can do the same, or whether you're fine typing numbers.
- Read the summary as an executive would. Is the weekly view something you'd forward, or something you'd rewrite?
- Price the full company, not the pilot. Multiply each per-seat figure by your real headcount, and compare it with OKRs Tool's flat fee.
Taking your goals out of Rhythms
Rhythms' export article puts Export to Excel in the ⋯ menu of any OKR view. Pick Export all child items to get the whole tree under that view as a CSV, then download it from the Exports panel. The file lists only goals you can see, so ask an Admin to run it. It also holds just the latest check-in; for older ones, use the REST API, with a token issued by Rhythms support. Word and PowerPoint exports give you a formatted copy for your records. Do all of this before your trial or contract ends. If your goals came from Ally.io or Viva Goals originally, our
Ally.io alternatives page explains what those exports held. Our Rhythms migration guide covers the move step by step.
