Workpath alternatives: 7 strategy and OKR tools compared
Facts checked October 27, 2026
Workpath is a strategy execution platform from Munich. It sells modules for KPIs, goals, initiatives and resources, hosts its data in Germany, and plugs deep into the Microsoft stack: Teams, Power BI, Excel Online, Planner, Azure DevOps and Entra ID. For a large European company running a transformation program, it's a serious tool with consultants attached.
That depth is also why people look around. Workpath asks for a demo before a trial, a proof of value before a contract, and a year's commitment once you sign. This page compares seven alternatives, from enterprise platforms that match Workpath's scope to OKR tools you can start using this afternoon. Facts were checked on October 27, 2026.
Why teams look for Workpath alternatives
- No price until you talk to sales. Workpath's pricing page lists Plans 1 to 3 and four modules, all priced on request. Budgeting before a demo isn't possible.
- A long road to the first goal. The 14-day test comes after a demo, and the page describes a proof of value of 3 to 4 months. Setup itself takes 2 to 4 weeks.
- A one-year minimum contract. Once you commit, you're in for at least a year.
- Slack isn't native. Workpath lists native integrations for Teams, Jira and Azure DevOps. Slack, Salesforce, Asana and Confluence connect through its API, so a Slack-first company needs developer time.
- More method than some teams want. Workpath comes with consultants and a structured rollout. A 40-person scale-up that wants to try OKRs for a quarter may not need either.
What Workpath does well
Workpath is strong where European enterprises are demanding. It's hosted in Germany, GDPR compliant, and certified for ISO 27001 and TISAX, the automotive industry's security standard. The integration list goes beyond chat: Power BI and Excel Online sit next to Azure DevOps, Jira, Planner and Entra ID. Its Agent Hub offers AI chat inside Workpath and Teams, with voice in Teams. Account managers and consultants help with onboarding, so you get people who've run strategy rollouts before, not just a help center. For a company that needs KPIs, goals, initiatives and resource planning in one governed system, Workpath covers it.
Where Workpath falls short
Workpath is priced and sold as a program, so it suits companies that can commit a year and a project team. Small teams can't self-serve. Slack users get an API, not an app. And when you leave, the Explorer export gives you CSV, Excel or Word files through an asynchronous download link, which is workable but leaves relationships for you to check.

The seven Workpath alternatives
WorkBoard
WorkBoard matches Workpath on enterprise scope and goes further on chat apps. Its developer page lists native Teams, Slack, Outlook and Google Calendar integrations, a REST API, and Excel, Sheets and CSV connectors for metrics. It bought Quantive in 2025. Pricing is a demo request, just like Workpath.
Moving from Workpath: Export goals and key results from the Explorer to Excel and bring them to WorkBoard's onboarding. If your teams split between Slack and Teams, WorkBoard serves both without an API project. See our
WorkBoard alternatives.
Cascade
Cascade is the strategy platform you can open without a sales call. Cascade's pricing includes a free Plan tier for 2 users with no credit card; Essentials (up to 25 users) and Enterprise (up to 100) are quoted. Viewers are unlimited on paid tiers, and Tapestry AI drafts plans and executive summaries on Enterprise. Teams is native; Slack runs through Zapier.
Moving from Workpath: Admins can load plans with Cascade's bulk importer from an XLSX template, but shared and nested objectives aren't supported there, so expect to relink part of your Workpath goal tree. See our
Cascade alternatives.
Profit.co
Profit.co is the option if you want Workpath's strategy and KPI scope plus HR modules. Its pricing page sells Strategy, Performance, Projects and Engagement modules, priced by modules and user count with no per-user figure. A 30-day trial, 100+ integrations, a dedicated success manager, guided onboarding and SSO come with every plan.
Moving from Workpath: Your success manager handles the onboarding, so give them the Explorer export. We found no self-serve Workpath importer. See our
Profit.co alternatives.
Perdoo
Perdoo gives a Workpath customer the closest thing to its KPI and goal structure at a public price. Perdoo's pricing offers strategy maps, OKR and KPI tracking and Slack and Teams on the free plan for up to 5 users. Premium is €8.00 to €6.40 and Supreme €10.00 to €8.00 per user per month by team size, and quarterly terms cost 10% more. There are no implementation fees.
Moving from Workpath: Perdoo has importers for Mooncamp, Tability and Viva Goals, not Workpath. Use its CSV template or paste goals as text; files must be under 5 MB and 10,000 rows. See our Perdoo alternatives.
Mooncamp
Mooncamp is a focused OKR tool for a team that found Workpath's modules more than it needed. Mooncamp's pricing is €7 per user per month for Essential and €10 for Professional, billed annually, with a 5-user minimum, a 14-day trial, and Slack and Teams on every plan. Enterprise starts at 100 users.
Moving from Workpath: Mooncamp's import only copies goals from an earlier Mooncamp cycle, so the first set is entered by hand. Its own exports are CSV, PDF and PNG. See our Mooncamp alternatives.
Teamflect
Teamflect keeps the Microsoft Teams experience Workpath users are used to, at a published price. Teamflect's pricing is free for up to 10 users, then $7 per user per month on Essential billed annually, or $9 monthly. Above 10 users all users are billed, and annual licenses can't be reduced. Goals sit next to reviews and 1:1s in Teams and Outlook. There's no Slack app, and no Power BI or Azure DevOps depth like Workpath's.
Moving from Workpath: Teamflect admins can bulk upload goals from an Excel template with a parent goal column, and the pricing page lists free implementation support and training. See our
Teamflect alternatives.
OKIAR
OKIAR is the opposite of a Workpath rollout: no demo, no proof of value, no contract. You sign up, add goals and start weekly check-ins by voice or text, and OKIAR writes the summary. It doesn't do KPIs from Power BI, resource planning or initiatives portfolios. The beta is free with no credit card and no member limit, and Okiar is already live today.
OKIAR works in Slack and Telegram, and has no Teams app, so a Microsoft-only company should weigh that first. With MCP, Claude or Codex can read goals, create objectives, key results and KPIs, and update key result values.
Moving from Workpath: No one will migrate it for you. Download the Explorer export as Excel, or even the Word file, and upload it at sign-up or later. OKIAR reads spreadsheets including multi-sheet Excel, CSV, PDF, Word, text and Markdown up to 5 MB, helps map people, teams and parent links for you to review, and lets you correct the draft first. Custom periods fit Workpath cycles that don't follow calendar quarters.
What you can take out of Workpath
Workpath's Explorer export lets you filter goals and key results, then download them as CSV, Excel or Word. The file is prepared in the background and you get a link when it's ready. Pick Excel for any move. Filter by cycle so each file covers one period, and check that owners and parent goals appear before you rely on it. KPI data that came from Power BI or Excel Online still lives in those sources, so you can reconnect it elsewhere. Ask your account manager about initiatives, resources and history before your contract term ends, since the one-year minimum sets the date. Our Workpath migration guide shows how to check an export file before importing it.
