Gtmhub migration: what your old exports hold, and how to rebuild your OKRs in OKIAR
Facts checked October 27, 2026
Gtmhub still exists under another name. It rebranded to Quantive on December 13, 2022, and WorkBoard announced it was buying Quantive on May 28, 2025. If your company still has that account, it's a Quantive account now, and our
Quantive migration guide covers how to export it.
This guide is for everyone else from the Gtmhub years: teams holding files they exported before 2023, developers with old scripts, and anyone who came to Gtmhub from Koan. Identifying and checking your file (Steps 1 and 2) matters for every destination; Steps 3 to 5 cover OKIAR specifically.
Before you start: what's still reachable
On October 27, 2026, gtmhub.com and app.gtmhub.com didn't respond to our requests. The Gtmhub help center survives only as archived copies in the Wayback Machine, and that's where every Gtmhub article below comes from. A dead address tells you nothing about your data, though. Work out which case you're in:
- Your company still pays for Quantive or WorkBoard. Your Gtmhub OKRs live there. Follow the
Quantive guide, which covers asking WorkBoard for a full export and its data deletion terms. - You left years ago but kept files. Use this guide to read them.
- You have nothing. Skip to "If you have no file" below.
Gtmhub's own rule was that only an account admin could ask to delete the account, through a support ticket or by email. If your old account was never deleted, an admin may still be able to ask about it.
Step 1: Work out which Gtmhub export you have
Gtmhub-era files look a little different from later Quantive ones, so check which you hold.
| Export | Who could run it | Format | What it holds | How it arrived | Best use now |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Export to Excel, per session | Not stated in the 2020 article | Excel | One session's objectives and key results with their attributes | Downloaded from the session toolbar | A checklist for one quarter |
| Export to Excel, per team | Not stated | Excel | Team members' objectives and key results, owners and attainment rates | Downloaded from the team's menu | A record of one team |
| Account Data Importer Tool | Users signing in with Gtmhub, or with an Account ID and API token | Excel, one file per data type, each with an "Instructions" sheet | Sessions, objectives and key results, tasks, users and teams, with IDs and custom fields | Downloaded from a separate app, with US and EU versions | Likely the most complete file |
| REST API | Whoever held a token; it acted as the user chosen when it was made | API responses | What the API covered | Pulled by a developer | A full archive, if someone saved it |
| Insightboard PDF | Not stated | A dashboard snapshot | Downloaded from the Insightboard's "..." menu | A visual record |
Export to Excel
The 2020 Gtmhub article gives two routes. Per session: OKRs, All sessions, pick the session, then Settings and actions, Export to Excel. Per team: People, Teams, pick the team, then Export to Excel from the menu. The team file lists "the attainment rate of the objectives" and of the key results. Unlike the later Quantive article, this version lists no plan requirement.
The Account Data Importer Tool
Gtmhub's 2022 utility guide describes a separate app with its own login. Its "Export from Gtmhub" button downloads an Excel file with "all data already in the system" for one data type: sessions, objectives and key results, tasks, users or teams. KPIs aren't on that list, though Quantive's later version of the same guide adds them. If your file came from this tool, you probably have one file per data type.
The API
Gtmhub's API quickstart pointed to API docs on app.gtmhub.com for the EU data center and app.us.gtmhub.com for the US one. Tokens came from Setup, Configuration, API tokens. Since those addresses didn't respond for us, expect old scripts to fail. Any saved API output is still worth keeping.
If you have no file
Work from whatever review decks survive and any Insightboard PDFs people kept. After this long, starting from scratch may be simpler; OKIAR's OKR examples give templates for 16 teams.
Step 2: Check what your file contains
The utility guide explains how its files are built:
- Each file has an "Instructions" sheet, and each row is one object.
- The OKR file has an "Objective" sheet and a "Key Results" sheet, with an Import ID and a System ID on each row.
- A key result points to its objective in the "Parent Objective ID" column. An objective that sits under a key result points to it in the "Parent ID" column.
- Custom fields sit on the right side of the sheet.
Before you plan the move, check four things:
- Count the objectives and key results in each session, and compare the totals with your last review.
- Check that every Parent Objective ID and Parent ID points to a row in the file. Gtmhub said a parent missing from the file had to be referenced by its system ID.
- Look for owners who have left the company.
- Look for KPIs and check-in history. Neither appears in the Gtmhub-era export lists, so expect to rebuild KPIs by hand.
Moving to a tool other than OKIAR
An old Gtmhub file may not suit every importer, so test one with each vendor before you commit. Our findings on October 27, 2026:
Tability's AI importer needs no template for XLSX or CSV up to 10 MB, but won't set up users or teams.Perdoo's goal import uses its CSV template or pasted text (under 5 MB, under 10,000 rows) and loads the present state with no check-in history.
Atlassian Goals can't import goals in bulk (feature request ATLAS-141).
Our Gtmhub alternatives page compares the tools former Gtmhub teams move to.
Step 3: Rebuild your current quarter in OKIAR
Gtmhub's Excel files can hold several sheets, and OKIAR reads multi-sheet workbooks. Its sign-up guide allows up to 5 MB per file and helps map people, teams and parent links for you to review. Import at sign-up or later. OKIAR drafts a plan from the file, and you fix objectives, key results, start values and targets before accepting it.
Rebuild only the goals you still care about, and keep the old file as your archive.
- Join the free beta: no card required and no limit on team members.
- Upload the OKR file, or a trimmed copy with only goals you still want. Accept the plan once every objective and key result has been read.
- Teams in the import should match the org chart as it is now. Then invite people as Admin, Manager, Contributor or Viewer.
- Arrange company and team objectives the way you want them today, not as Gtmhub had them.
- Reset each key result's current value, since the file's numbers are years old, and confirm start, target and unit.
- Add KPIs for metrics you always watch, such as revenue or churn.
- Set up Slack.
- Go over the result with every team lead and fix wrong owners or links.
Where each Gtmhub field goes in OKIAR
| In your Gtmhub file | In OKIAR | Check before you start |
|---|---|---|
| Session | Period: today's quarter, year or fiscal-quarter labels | Pick today's period, not the old one |
| Objective (called "Goal" in the API) | Objective title and description | Which level each objective sits at |
| Key result (called "Metric" in the API) | A key result with start, current and target, a unit and a direction | Old values that need a reset |
| Parent Objective ID | The objective each key result sits under | Every ID points to a row |
| Parent ID | A nested objective under that key result's objective | Every ID points to a row |
| Owners | An owner, optionally several | Owners who are no longer there |
| Teams file | Teams | Team names that changed since |
| Users file | Invite people from Settings | Email addresses still in use |
| Attainment | Recalculated from the current value | Keep old scores in your archive |
| Custom fields | Custom fields, an OKIAR feature since May 2026 | Copy the ones you still use |
| Tasks (shown as efforts in older screens) | Keep in your archive | Tasks still relevant |
| System ID and Import ID | Keep in your archive | Use them to match sheets |
All 12 fields shown.
Statuses in OKIAR
Gtmhub's old statuses don't need moving. Status in OKIAR comes from pacing; per the objective guide, that's actual progress compared with what was expected by this point in the period. You can override it.
OKIAR shows On track when the pacing ratio is 0.7 or above, Behind from 0.4 to 0.69, and At risk under 0.4. Not started, Closed and Abandoned are set by hand instead.
Owners may add a confidence rating from 0 to 10 when they check in.
Step 4: Replace your old Gtmhub connections
Gtmhub data sources pulled data from other systems on a sync schedule to "automatically update KPIs and OKRs." None of those connections comes with an old file, and scripts aimed at gtmhub.com addresses got no answer when we tried.
| In Gtmhub | In OKIAR today |
|---|---|
| Key results fed by data sources | The owner enters it at check-in |
| Insightboards | Dashboards and Insights |
| Scripts using the REST API | MCP for AI assistants, inside your permissions |
| Notifications in chat tools | Slack or Telegram (no Teams app) |
If old scripts pushed numbers into Gtmhub, plan on owners doing it now. OKIAR's MCP tools, 12 in all, let an assistant such as Claude update a current value or file a check-in. None of them creates an objective or key result.
Step 5: Run the first check-in
Run the first check-in in week one.
Give each team a check-in day and template, and have owners report progress, confidence and blockers by voice or text. Share the weekly summary at the next team meeting. A few weeks in, Insights will show pacing, confidence and recurring blockers, ready for the mid-quarter review.
Our weekly check-in template lists five questions to start with.

Frequently asked questions
Is Gtmhub the same as Quantive?
Yes. Gtmhub renamed itself Quantive on December 13, 2022, and WorkBoard announced it was buying Quantive on May 28, 2025. A Gtmhub account that's still active is a Quantive account.
Can I still log in at gtmhub.com?
On October 27, 2026, gtmhub.com and app.gtmhub.com didn't respond to our requests. If your company is still a customer, ask your admin which address it uses today, or follow our Quantive guide.
Why doesn't my Gtmhub export have KPIs?
The Gtmhub-era utility guide lists sessions, objectives and key results, tasks, users and teams, but not KPIs. Quantive's later version added them. Rebuild KPIs by hand.
What do "Goal" and "Metric" mean in old API output?
Gtmhub's API used different names from its screens. Per its quickstart, an objective was a "Goal", a key result was a "Metric" and an effort was a "Task".
We came to Gtmhub from Koan. Where are those goals?
Koan's help center said migrated goals appeared in Gtmhub as two sessions, one for active goals and one for archived goals. Our
Koan migration guide has the details.
What does OKIAR cost?
Free during the beta, which needs no card and puts no limits on objectives, key results, KPIs or team members. There's no end date, and beta Okiar is already live today. A Pro plan will come later, listed at "TBD/seat/month".
