Tability alternatives for startups and product teams
Facts checked October 27, 2026
Tability attracts small, fast teams: a startup's leadership group, a product org with a few squads, an agency tracking client goals. It keeps OKRs simple, adds initiatives and dependencies, and leans hard on AI for writing goals and reading spreadsheets.
So the people leaving it are usually not looking for an enterprise suite. They want something cheaper, something free, a different take on check-ins, or a tool that doesn't price in AI credits. Here are six alternatives at that end of the market, checked on October 27, 2026.
What sends teams looking
There's no free plan. Tability's pricing gives a 14-day trial, then Basic at $6 per user per month billed yearly, or $7 monthly. A four-person founding team pays from day 15.
Security features cost more. SAML SSO, SCIM and data connectors are Premium features, at $10 per user per month yearly or $12 monthly. The API also needs a Premium workspace.
AI runs on credits. Basic includes 4,000 AI credits per user per month and Premium 10,000, and the AI importer uses 250 credits per import. That's usually plenty, but it's one more meter to watch.
The roadmap points at agents. The pricing page shows an Agentic plan, marked coming soon, at $20 per user per month billed yearly. Teams that want a plain OKR tracker may not like the direction.
Credit where it's due
Tability has no user minimum, and each paid seat brings 2 free read-only seats, so a CEO or board member can follow along without a license. The Basic plan card lists Slack, Teams, Jira and Linear, although the pricing FAQ puts every integration except Slack on Premium. The AI importer reads XLSX or CSV files up to 10 MB with no fixed template, which few rivals match. There's an MCP server that reads OKRs and creates check-ins, and Enterprise customers can choose hosting in the US, the EU or Australia.

Six tools to replace Tability
Weekdone
Weekdone is a good fit for a team that liked Tability's check-ins but wants the week, not just the quarter, in view. Its price list describes OKRs with weekly planning, plus conversations, feedback and recognition. It's free for up to 3 users. Above that, the per-user price falls as the team grows, and Weekdone says moving from monthly to annual billing saves 20%.
Slack, Teams, Jira and Asana are on the integration list, data is stored in the EU, and SSO and a custom API are available. We didn't find a file importer, so Tability plans would be re-entered or pushed through the API. See our Weekdone alternatives.
Perdoo
Perdoo is the shortest path out of Tability, because its import tool lists Tability among its source formats, next to Mooncamp and Viva Goals. Export your Tability plan to CSV and Perdoo maps it. The usual limits apply: under 5 MB and 10,000 rows, and current goals only, without check-in history.
On price, Perdoo is free for up to 5 users with Slack and Teams. Premium is €8.00 per user per month for under 25 users, falling to €6.40 at 100, and Supreme €10.00 falling to €8.00. Watch what each tier unlocks: API access and SAML SSO start on Premium, but Jira and Linear are Supreme only. Our Perdoo alternatives page covers the reverse trip.
Teamflect
Teamflect makes sense if your company runs on Microsoft 365 and you'd like goals and reviews in Teams. The Starter plan is free for up to 10 users, which beats every paid Tability seat for a small team. Above 10, every user is billed: Essential is $7 per user per month on annual billing, $9 monthly.
It's a performance suite, so expect reviews, 360 feedback, surveys and recognition next to goals. There's no Slack integration, which rules it out for many startups. Admins can load goals from an Excel template with parent references and goal weights. See our Teamflect alternatives.
OKRs Tool
OKRs Tool is the answer to per-seat creep. Its pricing is a flat fee for the organization: $129 a month on Scale, which includes every integration, Slack, Teams, Jira and Linear among them. A 12-person team pays the same as a 60-person one. Annual billing takes 20% off. Expand at $229 adds strategy pillars, multi-team cascades and performance reviews, and Enterprise, from $349 a month, adds SSO, SCIM, audit logs and the API.
The 14-day trial needs no card, OKR import and export are on every plan, and there's a refund if fewer than 60% of your team are using it after 30 days. For very small teams the flat fee costs more than Tability's per-seat price, so do the sum. Above 100 people the plan is quoted. More in our OKRs Tool alternatives.
Mooncamp
Mooncamp is for the team that's growing out of startup mode and wants more structure. Professional, at €10 per user per month, adds a goal tree, goal weighting, multi-alignment and custom dashboards. Essential is €7. Both are billed annually, with a 5-user minimum, and Slack and Teams come with every plan.
There are two drawbacks for someone coming from Tability. Mooncamp has no monthly billing, and its in-app import only copies goals between Mooncamp cycles. Its FAQ says a public API is on the roadmap rather than available. See our Mooncamp alternatives.
OKIAR
OKIAR is the one to try if price is the reason you're leaving. During the beta it's free, with no credit card and no caps on objectives, key results, KPIs or team members, and it has no AI credit meter to watch. The beta has no set end date; Okiar is already live today.
Tability's plan CSV loads through goal import: up to 5 MB, helping you review people, teams and parent links. Spreadsheets with several sheets, PDF, Word, text and Markdown files work too, so the slides or documents you shared from Tability can be read as well. You'll run the move yourself. Check-ins go through Slack or Telegram. OKIAR has no Teams app and no Jira or Linear integration, which is the main thing a product team gives up.
Who should stay with Tability
Stay if your engineers rely on the Jira or Linear connection, since only OKRs Tool among the options here includes both on its entry plan. Stay if read-only seats keep your bill down: two free viewers per paid seat is generous. And stay if the AI importer and MCP server are part of how you plan each quarter. If the only issue is cost, compare your current bill with OKRs Tool's flat fee before moving.
What you can take out of Tability
Tability's setup guide exports each plan to CSV or slides from the plan menu. Filter views across plans can be saved and their results exported too, and managers can pull a review spreadsheet in AI Mode with key results, owners, current values and the latest check-in date. Export every plan before your subscription ends. Our Tability migration guide checks each file and rebuilds it in OKIAR.

Free during beta, with no credit card.
Frequently asked questions
Does Tability have a free plan?
No. It offers a 14-day trial, then Basic costs $6 per user per month billed yearly or $7 monthly.
Which tool imports Tability data directly?
Perdoo has an importer that accepts Tability exports. OKIAR reads Tability's CSV through its general goal import, which helps map people, teams and parent links for you to review.
What is the cheapest Tability alternative?
OKIAR is free during its beta. Teamflect is free for up to 10 users, Perdoo for up to 5 and Weekdone for up to 3.
Is a flat-fee OKR tool cheaper than Tability?
It depends on headcount. OKRs Tool's Scale plan costs $129 a month whatever your size up to 100 people, so it works out cheaper than Tability Basic at roughly 20 or more paid users.
Can I keep Jira or Linear links if I leave?
OKRs Tool includes both on every plan. Perdoo has them on Supreme and Weekdone lists Jira. Teamflect and OKIAR don't connect to either.
